This challenge is open to anyone in the Fort McMurray area!  You must be registered by September 16th, 2019.

The challenge winners won’t have anything to do with who loses the most weight or the most inches...it’s just about committing to some sort of physical activity 5 times a week for 6 weeks. Everybody’s goals are different but everyone can use a little motivation! Activities can include my class, someone else’s class/fitness facility, a bike ride, a walk, the "Daily Workout - Buddy System" (See the “Join” section!)

You will have to prove you’ve completed your daily activity by either posting a screenshot from your favorite fitness app showing at least one 1/2 hour of activity, tagging someone/a gym/class, and then you have to “CHECK-IN” to my Facebook page (www.Facebook.com/DanceFitnessYMM) on that post, so that I can count it as one of your 5. The "check-in" is SUPER important to remember, because it is the only way for me to keep track of everyone and their activities!

At the end of the 6 weeks, whoever has completed the 5 physical activities a week will all be entered to win the prizes! Take a look at the Prizes section! Still more to come!

You can join the challenge two ways. You can purchase a $25 Challenge pass which will give you 3 Vixen classes and a place in the challenge OR you can purchase a $45 pass which will give you 6 Vixen classes, a free class for a friend AND 1/2 price classes ($5) for the duration of the challenge once your 6 classes are used up.

Iron Camp Fitness has a special offer for all challenge participants as well! More to come about that!

All challenge participants will receive a card to use at various local businesses who will be offering discounts and specials throughout the 6 weeks! (A growing list can be found under the special offers tab!)

This challenge will be starting the third week of September!

How do I Register?

- $25 Registration will give you 3 Vixen Workout classes and a spot in the Challenge

- $45 Registration will give you 6 Vixen Workout classes, One free pass for a friend and a spot in the Challenge. With this $45 pass, you will also only pay $5 for any additional Vixen classes that you attend during the Challenge.

All participants will receive a Challenge card when they register. This card will be used to receive special offers and discounts from participating local/home businesses. A growing list of these offers can be found above.

Please message me through the contact tab or on my Facebook page to join! You can pay by EMT, PayPal or cash.

The 6 week Challenge begins Monday, September 16th!  You MUST be registered by this day!

What do I have to do?

- You MUST complete 5 physical activities a week for 6 weeks.  (Must be at least one 1/2 hour of activity to count)

- You MUST prove it by tagging a friend/class/taking a screenshot from a fitness app. (Find your fave FREE fitness app before the challenge starts! There's probably one already on your phone)

- You MUST, MUST, MUST (And this one is the most important!) "CHECK IN" to my "Fitness with Nicole" Facebook page from your post!  This is the only way for me to keep track of everyone and their activities! www.Facebook.com/DanceFItnessYMM 

What counts as a physical activity?

- A Vixen Workout class

- Someone else's class (Don't forget to tag the class!)

- A workout at a fitness facility (At least a 1/2 hour - Don't forget to tag the place!)

- A walk/run/jog/bike ride (At least a half hour - Screenshot of a fitness app)

- The Daily Workout "Buddy System" - I will post a daily workout. This workout can only count if you buddy up with another participant. You must Facetime, complete the daily workout together, and take a screenshot while you are on the call. (The pic can be before or after your workout!)

Don't forget to 'CHECK IN" to "Fitness with Nicole" on EVERY Challenge post!!! This is the ONLY way that I will know that you've completed your activity!

What's the Daily Workout?

I wanted to come up with a Daily Workout option because I realize that sometimes life gets busy and it might not always be easy to get out of the house   The daily workout can be done at any time, from anywhere, with no equipment.  

This workout can only count if you buddy up with another participant.

You must Facetime/video call each other, complete the daily workout together, then take a screenshot while you are on the call. (The pic can be before or after your workout!). Feel free to use the Facebook event to reach out to other participants by posting on the wall! Maybe you can find a Daily Workout buddy there!

Here's an example of a daily workout!
- 5 Push Ups
- 20 Squats
- 10 Butt Kickers
- 15 Lunges
- 40 Sit Ups
- 30 Second Plank
- 25 Crunches
- 35 Jumping Jacks
- 5 More Squats
- 5 Pointed Butt Lifts
- 5 Fire Hydrants

It may look like alot! But this workout can be completed in less than 15 mins (and even less than 10)

How do you win?

- Do 5 physical activities a week for 6 weeks
- Post about it (Tag a friend/post a pic/screenshot from a fitness app) on Facebook!
- CHECK-IN to "Fitness With Nicole' facebook page on your post!  This is so important because it's the only way for me to keep track of everyone!  If you don't check in, your activity doesn't count! www.Facebook.com/DanceFitnessYMM

What else do I get for joining?

Various local/home businesses have special offers and discounts available for Challenge participants!  You will receive a card upon registering for the Challenge to present at these businesses.  Take a look at the "Special Offers" tab for a growing list of offers and discounts along with the link to their Facebook pages!


What kind of results should I expect?

There is no guaranteed amount of weight or inches someone will lose during a challenge.  That's not what this challenge is about.  It's about staying motivated and about holding yourself accountable.  It's about feeling healthier and creating good habits!

I do suggest taking your own "before" pictures and measurements and inboxing/emailing them to yourself.  At the end of the 6 weeks, after you've completed 5 activities a week...take new pictures and new measurements.  It's not part of the challenge, but it will be nice for you to see your progress!  

Do I have to attend a Vixen class for the Challenge?

You are not obligated to take a Vixen class, but I did need some way to have people officially "register" for the challenge.   The $25 pass and the $45 pass were the best options for this.  You do have to purchase one or the other to join the challenge but you are not obligated to use them...although I really think you'd love it if you tried it!!! :)
